We rely on the industry cost approach that licensed appraisers use which varies from one area to another. The industry cost approach is adjusted frequently and varies from month-to-month. We are careful to be aware of how a bank values both the cost approach and market approach of the homes we build. Costs vary depending on the interior and exterior finishes you select for your home. Our goal is to always provide the best value to our clients.
| 2 | WHO CARRIES THE INSURANCE DURING CONSTRUCTION?
R. B. Olson is responsible for workers compensation and builder's liability. The homeowner is responsible for a typical homeowner's insurance policy. This insurance will need to be in place prior to beginning construction. We will assist you in obtaining this.
| 3 | WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE UTILITIES DURING CONSTRUCTION?
We typically set all up all utilities in the land owner's name.
| 4 | HOW FAST CAN YOU BUILD?
Typical construction on a 2500 square foot home takes approximately 150 calendar days with provisions for weather. Larger, more complex homes can take up to 180-240 calendar days. Our company prides itself on our timely construction and schedule management.
